I'm a 20-something wedding and portrait photographer in Central Virginia! I'm also a wife, dog mom of two, and follower of Jesus. Thank you for stopping by my online home!

Hello There! I'm Taylor

WELCOME TO MY ONLINE HOME!

I delivered this gallery (of over 300 images) yesterday, so I thought it was only fitting to share it on the blog today! The moment I started posting sneak peeks of these, my Instagram DMs were flooded with messages. These two are naturals in front of the camera, and I’m just as obsessed as you all are!

When Tim reached out to me about photographing his proposal to Sarah, I was so excited. He started telling me his plans and ideas, and I was 100% on board. A winter proposal at The Jefferson?! Count me in! Tim thought of everything. From sending me photos of where he planned on standing to a video of where I could walk in and hide until they got there, and even asking for outfit advice so he wouldn’t clash with the building’s decor – every piece was covered in intentional thought.

On the day of the proposal, it was cold and windy. The sun peeked in and out of clouds all morning. The Jefferson was quiet with only a few people scurrying around. I hid behind a pillar until I got the text from Tim that they were walking in. They walked upstairs and stopped at the top of the steps – just as he had planned. I popped out from behind the pillar, he dropped to one knee, and she said yes. Afterwards, we celebrated with photos around the Jefferson – inside and out. We had so much fun laughing together and taking photos before they headed off for their reservation and day of celebrating.
