Doug and Anna Katherine’s wedding day is one I’ll never forget. A perfect Labor Day Weekend with blue skies and a soft breeze set the tone for their beautiful day at Seven Springs. Peaceful and blooming with hydrangeas, Seven Springs was the most perfect backdrop for Doug and AK’s wedding day. Doug and AK are two of the most kind people I’ve ever met. When I met them for their engagement session, I didn’t want to leave! They put up with every request I had – from rolling around in the grass to sitting on a large tree branch. Their joy is contagious, and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of this celebration.
Doug and AK’s wedding day was full of special moments, but my favorite happened just before dinner. Their wedding day took place on AK’s grandparents’ anniversary. To honor the memory of her grandmother and to celebrate their marriage, AK surprised her grandfather with a dance. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more joyful smile than his when AK asked him to dance.
After dinner, Doug and AK danced the night away with their friends and family before ending the night with a sparkler exit. A truly magical day. Congratulations, Mr. And Mrs. Weimer! The best is yet to come!
