Richard and Liz’s wedding day was so fun and unique! They chose to have a mid-day ceremony with a fellowship luncheon following. It gave them time to celebrate with all of their guests without the pressure of formal dances or speeches — they could just be together with the people they love. After the luncheon, most of their guests met them downtown at The Berkeley Hotel for an after-party. It was complete with delicious food and lots of dancing.
I love that Richard and Liz went against the grain to celebrate the way they wanted to. Not to mention, it gave us extra time for portraits and that’s always a win in my book!
One of my favorite parts of Richard and Liz’s day was their ceremony. They got married at Reveille UMC on Cary Street and it was stunning! The sanctuary walls were lined with almost floor to ceiling windows that had sunshine pouring through the glass. It was so grand, and Liz looked like a princess walking down the aisle in her wedding dress with its long train. It truly felt like something out of a movie.
Wedding days always remind me why I love my job so much. I’m so honored to get to celebrate so many couples.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Hegarty!
