Michael and Ashton’s love story is like the ones you watch in movies. They’re high school sweethearts and have been together for seven years! I’ve known Michael and Ashton since before they started dating, and I can honestly say they’re two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They love the people around them so well, and they are both so so genuine. I’m truly honored to know them. When they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I did a little happy dance in my living room — I always knew they’d marry each other!

Showing up on their wedding day felt like a family reunion! The bridal suite was filled with joyful anticipation, and I was just giddy with excitement. Michael and Ashton got married at the Vineyard Estate at New Kent Winery on the most beautiful fall day! After having below freezing temperatures for their engagement session, they deserved this perfect weather!

One of my favorite parts of Michael and Ashton’s day was their first look. Ashton looked absolutely breathtaking, and nothing could wipe Michael’s smile off his face. I will never forget the joy on their faces during that moment!

As Michael and Ashton’s guests began to arrive, the joy in the space increased! There was so much excitement surrounding this day! Michael and Ashton have the best friends and family that celebrated them all night long! At the end of the evening, their friends and family made a giant circle so Michael and Ashton could dance to the final song in the middle. I’m not going to lie, I teared up a little bit. The ending of perfect days like this are bittersweet. I’ll never grow tired of the feeling that follows joy-filled wedding days.
