Wow! I can’t believe my baby sister is about to graduate high school! Time flies when you’re having fun! I’m so glad that Madison asked me to take her senior pictures! I can’t think of many teenage girls that would want their sister to do photos for such a big and important milestone! We’ve already had so much fun taking these! We went on vacation to VA Beach and were researching all week for special locations! These were taken at First Landing State Park. We timed it perfectly to be there right at sunset!

Unfortunately, we had an incident while taking the pictures…my camera fell IN the water! I couldn’t believe it! It was only in the water for about 10 seconds, but my heart was broken! I CRIED. I UGLY cried. I felt like it was ruined from being in salt water. I couldn’t look at it without crying more. The other people on the beach probably thought someone died, but nope. Just my camera.

Thank goodness for family that tried to keep my mind off of it, and my sweet boyfriend who called me when he knew I was balling. The major reason I was crying was because I had a wedding to shoot that weekend and I had no clue if I’d have a new/fully functioning camera! Out of all Best Buy stores in VA Beach, there was ONE camera just like mine and I got it! (Cue the confetti!) I was so relieved and at peace!

Nonetheless, these pictures were safe and I’m so glad. They’re gorgeous! She’s gorgeous! Stay tuned for more senior sessions of Madison!
